Impressive! I admit that I didn't know this website, but the cheaper than mean price was attractive. So, the service was perfect! Tracking the guitar was easy, and when I contacted the service they were really kind. So let's talk about the guitar: ASTONISHING! I love Teles', but really this is on another level. Neck: fantastic, not too chunky (like a Baja, I own), not too slim (like a real '52), as well the frets, not too jumbo and not to slim. Really, i is simply perfect (at least for my hands). Finishing: perfect, like an american guitar. Sound: AWESOME! Really, it has the twangy sound you want from a telecaster (it is essentially a telecaster with a different shape body, but the rest is the same), it sounds like a telecaster, it plays like a telecaster, but when you try to have a bit more distortion it has some kind of a compression (similar to that of the PRS core line) which makes it creamy sounding, not exacerbating that spanky an twangy characteristic, but lowering it a little bit. This makes the guitar sounding perfectly twangy as a common Tele, but creamy (maintaning the twangy sound, to be clear, it never disappear) with more distortion., making it astonishingly versatile. Like a Les Paul (which should sound like a Tele but bigger) with just a little bit thinner sound. Really, you can play EVERYTHING with this guitar, but maintaining the characteristic Tele sound. I also have a Baja: compared to the Offset Tele, the Baja is always excessive twanging, I mean, if you want a more distorted and creamy sounding, with the Baja is more difficult to have. It may be a drawback or not, depending on the tastes, but for me, having a guitar that changes its behaviour depending on the amount of distortion you put in, is a great added value! It can be delicated and overtwangy as a '52 Tele, or aggressive and sweet (almost) as a Les Paoul. I love it! CTS potentiometers, treble bleed, perfect frets... What else do you want?
